MMA stands for Mixed Martial Arts, and it is a Sport formed from many traditional disciplines.  Examples include Boxing, Kick-Boxing, Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Wrestling and many more!  MMA has its own set of rules for Professional & Amateur level and children can start MMA classes from as young as 2 years of age.  The most reputable MMA organisation is the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship).

Once you have completed your free trial, our system will activate your membership and take the first month’s payment.  If you wish to cancel please get in touch immediately via the Contact page. Other memberships and deals can be requested i.e. Bulk payments, Sibling deals.

Almost any sports or P.E clothing is suitable.  You must ensure that your clothing DOES NOT have zips and/or velcro as well as ensuring all jewellery wear is removed (Necklaces, rings, watches, bracelets etc.). We also sell Panda MMA training uniform, just speak to our Coaches to order.

No, competing in MMA isn’t compulsory.  To take part in a competition is all down to the individual.  We only encourage competitions to embrace a new challenge, but ultimately, we do not force anybody to compete. It is also completely normal to train just for fun & for fitness. We believe that MMA is for everyone, not just for competitors.

Yes, we offer a subscription pause in the event where you are unable to train due to an injury or personal circumstances but you want to continue in the near future.  All members can pause for up to 8 weeks and twice per year maximum.  This ensures that your membership is not cancelled, and you keep your existing pricing.  If your subscription does not continue after the Pause period (8 weeks Max.), then we will cancel your subscription and you can sign-up online again whenever you are ready to comeback.

Alternatively, we can cancel your membership entirely.  However, it is your responsibility give us this notice to activate the 4 weeks cancellation period. Please download and read our T&Cs in the footer of this website.

There are local, free, street parking right outside of the gym all within very short walking distance.  However, if available, you can park in the private carpark that belongs to Mancor House, in Unit 17C space. You also have 2 hr free parking at Mc’Donald’s or Tesco carpark, but you will need to make a short walk to Bolsover Street to the entrance of our academy.

Yes absolutely, we have seats for parents to stay and watch if they wish to.  For safeguarding reasons, taking pictures or filming/recording of the class is strictly prohibited.

We do not offer gradings for Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) as there is no such thing.  However, as part of the full kids timetable, we offer K1/Kickboxing classes to which we do offer Belt grades to students who commit and develop in training in K1/Kickboxing.  For students who commit to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, we also offer gradings for this discipline.
